How did your team do in their first preseason game? Are you confident, or are you horrified?
I was in a bar when the Broncos played their first preseason game so I wasn’t paying attention much. I did manage to look up at the tv right when Sanchez threw the pick. It wasn’t the worst pick I’ve seen, but he’s got to recognize when someone’s covered and throw it away. Other than that he looked adequate. Adequate QB play is all that’s required for the Broncos, so I’m pretty calm.

Seahawks beat the Chiefs 17-16
I was working so I couldn’t watch the game. One of my coworkers told me.

As long as the Patriots have the Evil Genius as a head coach, life is fine.

We’ll see. Everyone is insisting the Patriots will be fine without Brady for the first four games, but I have a gut feeling that it isn’t going to go so smoothly for them.

I’ll know more after tonight since the 49er’s don’t play till 6:00 pm my time. Not a Chip fan so I’m not sure how this is going to go.

Our used carpet salesman/coach was replaced by chip Kelly, which is a lateral move at best
I'd be excited for our high draft pick but I know we're going to use it on the best white guy from the pac 12.

There is neither confidence nor horror when you’ve been a Dallas fan for over three decades. There is only the comforting reassurance that the team will consistently be just good enough to make us think that they might be a legitimate contender...just in time to collapse and fold like a cheap suit inside a wet paper bag.
There is seriously nothing more masochistic than having hope when you're a Dallas fan.

Colts beat the Bills 19-18. I had family in town, so I only saw occasional snippets of the game. We were behind for a good bit of it, got a sizable lead, and almost gave it up. Typical Colts. I'm still a fan, though!
